Exhibition on children in the Holocaust, "Little Stars" at Manuel Ferreira Patrício Basic School
From the 28th of January to the 1st of February, to commemorate the International Day in Remembrance of the Victims of the Holocaust, the Library of Grouping of Manuel Ferreira Patrício Primary School in Évora has an exhibition on children in the Holocaust, entitled "Little Stars", promoted by the Catholic Moral and Religious Education discipline and by the Social and Human Sciences Club, organized and coordinated by professors Maria Rosário Ribeiro and Paula Ramalho.
Activities Grouping Schools José Relvas - Alpiarça
An exhibition was set up with a mural alluding to Auschwitz and information relating to the Holocaust, initiatives by the School Library team, which were joined by teachers of History, Portuguese, Spanish and Physical Education. In addition to the students involved by their respective teachers, others participated autonomously. Throughout the week, students, teachers and non-teaching staff will be invited to share on a bulletin board the numbers, phrases, testimonies that most marked them about this dark moment in human history. A leaflet was created and distributed to all teachers as a resource to remember the victims of the Holocaust
Grouping of schools de Carregal do Sal
As atividades no âmbito da Evocação do Dia Internacional em Memória das Vítimas do Holocausto , do agrupamento de escolas de Carregal do Sal were the following: one of the activities was included in the “Encontros de autor 2019” -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ historian Cláudia Ninhos and the lecture theme “Portuguese in the Concentration Camps of the III Reich”, guided by the UNESCO Project, aimed at 9th and 12th grade students of this School Grouping ; outra atividade que foi dinamizada neste contexto, foi a palestra para a turma do 5ºD para falar de Aristides de Sousa Mendes at the EB Aristides de Sousa Mendes Library of the Carregal do Sal School Group; a desafio de Elisa Morais e within the scope of the "Aristides de Sousa Mendes, or Humanity Personified" Project, an exchange project between students from the Aristides de Sousa Mendes Elementary School in Bordeaux - France and the Aristides de Sousa Mendes Primary School in Cabanas de Viriato, 5th D students attended a lecture on the 2nd World War, the Holocaust and the Humanitarian act of Aristides de Sousa Mendes through the words of one of the members of the UNESCO Project; finally, there is the exhibition” 100 Words…some good, some NOT” on display at the Manuel Soares de Albergaria Museum, in Carregal do Sal from January 23 to February 28, on this topic._cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_This whole dynamic of sharing and raising awareness serves as an awareness raising awareness of the theme of the 2nd World War, the Holocaust and Human Rights, in a philosophy of “Studying the past ado, to understand the present and prevent the future”.

Elementary and Secondary School of Montemor-o-Velho
The Basic and Secondary School of Montemor-o-Velho carried out a series of activities aimed at remembering the victims of the Holocaust. These activities resulted from the collaborative work by the Open Your Mind Club, the Fernão Mendes Pinto Association's Leisure Activity Center, the National Cinema Plan and the School Library.
Secondary School of Casquilhos
As a way of marking the international day in memory of the victims of the Holocaust, celebrated on the 27th of January, the Library of Escola Secundária de Casquilhos, in collaboration with the History group, is associated with this commemoration with a set of initiatives, to take place along the over the next week.
Among the various initiatives, Drª Cláudia Ninhos' Conference on "Os portugueses no Holocausto", on January 29th, at 8:30 am in the Library, which will have the participation of the 12th grade classes, stands out. and D, within the scope of History A.
It is urgent to remember this tragic period in the history of the 20th century, so that we can reflect on the values that we intend for a tolerant and fair society.
